Rose Chizi

The Zambian Government in July 2017 appointed the first-ever Honorary Consul to Greece – Ms Rose Chizi. This Consulate is intended to be instrumental in building more international relationships, facilitating business collaboration and several foreign investment groups in Greece and Zambia.

Ms Rose Chizi stands as a Zambian representative to facilitate investment opportunities from and within Greece and is constantly looking for prospects to invest in Zambia.  The Honorary Consul’s focus is on key sectors such as Agriculture, Tourism, Construction and Education and how they can compliment Zambia’s ongoing development in these areas.

Born and educated in Zambia Ms. Chizi  epitomizes the true essence of hard work, being of service and one dedicated to women empowerment.  The role of Honorary Consul is definitely one that Ms. Chizi selflessly serves with conviction and competence.  She has been involved in several professional opportunities and has made great strides in building relationships, facilitating business collaborations with corporates, charities, non-governmental organisations and foreign women groups in Greece. A baptized Christian Greek Orthodox and family woman, a host to several Zambians and dignitaries who have visited the Hellenic Republic, it is indubitable her dedication to helping people sets her aside as a leader.
