Zambia – commonly regarded as one of the most beautiful, friendly, diverse and unspoilt countries on the entire African continent. It is a landlocked country in Southern Africa that’s roughly the size of Texas or France, bordered by eight countries, Tanzania to the northeast, Malawi to the east, Mozambique to the southeast, Zimbabwe and Botswana to the south, with a narrow strip of Namibia known as the Caprivi Strip to the southwest, Angola to the west, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the northwest.
Unlike most of its neighbours, Zambia has managed to avoid the war and upheaval that has marked much of Africa’s post-colonial history, earning itself a reputation for political stability.
